We have brand new, newly designed lighting towers ready for use in the field, 575 units in San Francisco bay area.  Physically we have made this lighting tower much smaller (2m long x 1.2m wide), a lot easier now for a 1 man setup & operation. We have gone with 3 x 315 watt solar panels, or 3 x 260 watt solar panels , an 5.5 to 9m pneumatic mast c/w a tilt & turn unit which house's 4 x 100w LED or 4 x 120w LED floodlights, each fitting produces 8,000 to 9,000 raw lumens equivalent to a 300W metal halide floodlight. All this is controlled by a hand held remote control or Manu Operation at your wish. You also have the option the run the tower in manual mode or set it to run automatically (set & forget). 

The mast can be set at any preferred working height and the lights can be directed in any direction, all done from a hand held remote. We can achieve 25 to 70hrs + continuous run time without any solar input from the battery bank alone.
